Preparation

- Verify vial label, concentration, and expiry.
- Use a sterile syringe and needle; never reuse single-use consumables.
Dose draw
- Disinfect vial stopper with alcohol swab.
- Pull air into syringe equal to target volume.
- Inject air into vial, invert, and draw target dose.
- Remove visible air bubbles by tapping and micro-adjusting plunger.
Injection basics
- Follow clinician-defined route and site rotation.
- Disinfect skin before injection.
- Insert with controlled angle and depth according to protocol.
- Inject steadily; do not force pressure.
Aftercare and disposal
- Do not recap by hand.
- Dispose needle/syringe in sharps container.
- Log dose, time, and site to maintain protocol consistency.
